The access division consists of trades people disciplined in the field of Mechanical Fitters, Electricians, Boilermakers (Welder), and Carpenters.
When it comes to Building Maintenance Units (BMU) or fixed Cranes, our team is one of the most experienced in Australia with extensive knowledge on all makes and models. We can replace your BMU, upgrade and repair it and provide maintenance services per the Australian Standards. Works can include BMU track installation or repairs, scissor platform installation or upgrades and various commercial plant. We ensure our customer’s plant is installed and remains compliant with AS/NZS 2550.13.
Our Mechanical and Electrical technicians have worked with many complex machines that give them a broad range of skills. They are trained to complete major inspections, overhaul traction winches such as Tiraks and Power Climbers and have completed many major BMU upgrades and modifications over the years. Our team is flexible and work from many different states when larger BMU projects are to be completed.

VERTIMAX Australia has qualified staff that design fall arrest and industrial rope access / abseiling equipment to ensure compliance to AS/NZS 1657, AS/NZS 1891 & AS/NZS 4488. All installations are tested and certified on completion with full reporting; User Manual and Layout plans delivered where required.
VERTIMAX Australia is an approved installer of Sayfa Systems, and Tractel engineered products. We are also equipped to test and inspect all other brands offered within today’s market.
Our team will complete the annual inspection, testing and certification of your existing fall arrest and industrial rope access / abseiling equipment to ensure you stay compliant with AS/NZS 1891.4 and AS/NZS 4488.2. All results are then recorded electronically through our in-field service software which guarantees that you always have the latest certifications at your disposal.
